Welcome Assistant Chief Biter
WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH | Assistant Chief Biter
As Women’s History Month comes to an end, we have the pleasure of honoring a very special lady. Please help us welcome Little Elm Police Department’s newly sworn-in, Assistant Chief Mandy Biter!
Chief Biter grew up in western Pennsylvania in a very rural area with her parents and three brothers. She played high school volleyball and softball. Before joining Little Elm, she was in Maryland, where she was with the Baltimore County Police Department for the past 15 years. Prior to a career in law enforcement, she worked as a child abuse investigator and also psychological rehabilitation counselor with inner-city youth. A. Chief Biter also volunteered as a boy’s youth baseball coach, winning the championship two years in a row #braggingrights 😁!
Assistant Chief Biter holds her Master’s Degree in Leadership Business Administration through the National University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is extremely passionate about Community Policing and building partnerships with the community we serve. A. Chief Biter is also a mom, to her sweet seven-year-old daughter, Mae. When she’s not on duty, A. Chief Biter enjoys working out, running, and doing home improvement projects.
Fun fact: She grew up as a Steeler fan, but could be persuaded to “see the light” #howboutthemboys 🏈
Congratulations from all of us ♥️ Welcome home!
