WELCOME | Officer Joseph Nunez III

Last week, Chief Harrison administered the Oath of Office to several new officers. Please help us welcome one of them, Officer Joseph Nunez III

Officer Nunez was born and raised in Los Angeles #westcoast 😎 He began his Law Enforcement career in 2009 in Southern California. During his tenure out there, he was in the Traffic Unit, Street Crimes, SWAT and was an FTO.

In 2018, Officer Nunez moved to the Lone Star State and began working for the Pilot Point Police Department. During his time there, he became a Corporal as well as served as the Interm Chief.

Officer Nunez doesn’t stop there. He currently holds a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and is currently working on his Masters Degree in Homeland Security and Emergency Management. He has his Master Peace Officer Certification, TCOLE instructor, Taser Instructor, VCQB instructor and recently completed the FBI LEEDA Trilogy Leadership series.

When asked why Little Elm, stated, “I picked Little Elm because it is a growing community oriented progressive department.”

When he’s not on duty, he enjoys paddle boarding, working out, and traveling with the family.
